These are ideas I fished from the internet and that I find useful as gifts for gardeners or gardener chefs. Some are DIY and some may come straight from your own garden, that will feel relieved from the excess of new sproutings or seeds. The first suggestion requires some knowledge about seeds that can germinate and those who will not, but this may be tested at home. The seeds must be dried before packing.

This is for the gifted. Cheap ceramic vases painted with allusive images. I think it would be better if we sealed only the pictures. Otherwise the nice drainage of a ceramic pot would turn into that of a plastic one.
This one I have already made, to give as a party memento. You can use popsickle sticks to identify the species.
This one is poetic: you give the dream of a garden. Buy the seeds and move them from the original package for a charming one, inside a beautiful folding card. Be aware of closing them well and protecting against umidity. You may use a little plastic ziploc inside the cardboard envelope. Choose seeds of fast and easy sprouting: dill, basil, chives, chervil, cilantro. Parsley usually takes too long.
This is the ninja one, from the goddess of housekeepers, Martha Stewart. Create a gardening basket in a wide mouth ceramic pot: tools, gloves, string, identifing plates, seeds, instructions and recipes.
